Own the physical design of products people use every single day — from first sketch to production tooling.
Mission
Define the physical language of HYV. You'll take products from concept sketch to production-ready CAD, obsessing over the way they feel in the hand, seal in the bag, and look on the shelf. Your work is the first thing a customer touches and the last thing they forget.
What you'll own
- Lead industrial design end-to-end: sketch, CMF, CAD, prototype, and DFM hand-off.
- Own the tactile and visual details — closures, textures, silhouettes — that make a HYV product unmistakable.
- Work directly with suppliers and tooling partners to protect design intent through manufacturing.
- Build and test physical prototypes fast; iterate on real ergonomics, not renders alone.
- Partner with brand and packaging so the product and its unboxing feel like one idea.
What success looks like
- In 6 months, a product you led is in tooling.
- Customers and reviewers single out the feel and finish of what you shipped.
- Suppliers ship to your spec without you fighting for it.
First 30 days
- Live with every current HYV product and audit them ruthlessly.
- Visit our manufacturing and supplier partners; learn the real constraints.
- Ship your first CMF exploration on an upcoming product.
First 90 days
- Own an active product line from concept through DFM.
- Establish our industrial-design review ritual and CAD standards.
- Have a prototype in hand that a founder is excited to carry.
The ideal candidate
- You've taken consumer hardware to mass production — and have the scars to show it.
- You think in materials and manufacturing, not just form.
- You have taste you can defend and the humility to test it against reality.
Required
- 5+ years in industrial / product design for physical consumer goods
- Fluency in CAD (SolidWorks / Rhino / Fusion) and CMF
- A portfolio of shipped products, not just concepts
- Hands-on prototyping and DFM experience
Preferred
- Drinkware, appliances, or wellness hardware background
- Experience with Indian manufacturing supply chains
- Sketching and rendering chops (Keyshot / Blender)

Compensation
